Production is well underway! I have shot most of my interviews with Spencer Manley and have begun editing these interviews. A struggle I had with filming was it took me a lot longer than expected to set up the equipment. Even though the day before I had set everything up and took it down the day of filming seemed a lot more stressful. I need to make sure to ask my fellow peers to come help me on filming days. It took me around 45 minutes to set up all the equipment and I still didn’t get the lighting I really wanted, it got to the point where I had to be okay with how it wasn’t perfect. Another struggle I came across was while I was editing I had noticed I did not get the amount of B-roll I wish I had, so to fix this I set up another day to film with Spencer to get strictly B-roll. I am planning on shooting my man on the streets interviews. I need to make sure to print out waivers for everyone I interview. I have already started asking my peers for assistance on this shot, my roommate has agreed to come out and assist it would be nice though if I could find one other person to help either with audio or help make sure everyone signs a waiver.
